What is the WE TEFL program and who is it for?
The WE TEFL program is a 120-hour, internationally accredited TEFL/TESOL certification course designed for new or experienced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers. Our course is for anyone passionate about teaching, whether you plan to teach in Morocco or pursue a teaching career abroad. It provides you with the essential skills, strategies, and confidence needed to excel in any EFL classroom.How much does the WE TEFL program cost?
The full price for the 120-hour program is 4,500 DH ($450). This price is the same for both the online and face-to-face versions of the course. We also offer scholarships for qualified candidates. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must submit a 750-word essay detailing their motivation and why they would be a great fit for the program.
What is the difference in duration between the online and face-to-face courses?
The total course duration is 120 hours for both options. The face-to-face course is held every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and can be completed in approximately 2.5 months. The online course is a mix of live instruction and self-paced lessons. The live sessions are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, allowing for completion in about 5 months.
Does the course include a practical teaching component?
Yes, practical teaching is a core part of our program. All trainees are required to complete at least 20 hours of practicum. Face-to-face students will gain their practical experience by teaching our real-life students at the center. Online students will also be provided with the opportunity to teach our students online, ensuring they get the same hands-on teaching experience.
Do I need a university degree to enroll in the WE TEFL program?
While a university degree is not mandatory to enroll, it is highly recommended. For non-native English speakers, a minimum English language proficiency level of B1-B2 is required to ensure you can fully participate in the course and confidently teach in an English-speaking environment.
What is the accreditation for the WE TEFL certificate?
Our course is accredited by The CPD Group, a reputable and internationally recognized accreditation body from the UK. Yes. Upon successful completion of the program, you will become part of our exclusive alumni network. We provide job placement guidance and assistance to all our certified teachers, helping them find rewarding teaching positions both in Morocco and internationally.
What are the requirements for a successful completion of the program?
To successfully complete the WE TEFL program and receive your certificate, you must fulfill all requirements. This includes completing all 120 course hours, finishing the 20 hours of required practicum, and successfully completing all assessments and your final portfolio.
